The Saints and NFL overtime rules....

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SAINTS AND THEIR VERY FIRST NFC CHAMPIONSHIP!  I couldn't be happier with the Superbowl teams, this should shake out to be a great one!  HOWEVER!  I hate the NFL's overtime rules..   They are ridiculous!  There is no way you can convince me that is ok to declare a winner when the other team doesn't even have a chance to come back.  The Vikings, as in many NFL overtime games, never got to touch the ball in overtime.  How fair is that?  In the NBA, each team get's a chance to win in overtime.  In the MLB, each team gets an extra inning to try to win a game.  But in the NFL, what is supposed to be America's greatest game, each team is not treated equally.  If you win the coin toss, more times than not, you win.  Here's the way I see it, if the first team scores, the opposing team should get at least one shot at trying.  If the first team does not score and the opposing team receives the ball and, in return, scores... game over.  For example.. New Orleans scores last night, Minnesota should have the opportunity to play to win or tie.  If New Orleans had not scored, and Minnesota received the ball and scored (both teams having a possession and a chance to win) then Minnesota wins the game.  Each team should get an equal shot at trying to win in overtime.  Let's look at a rule change NFL.... you're way behind.
